Kweilin “Coach Kwe” Wofford has been an entrepreneur for over 13 years and has a degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Services Management. She has conducted workshops for the National Association for the Education of Young Children, Pennsylvania Association for the Education of Young Children, as well as local school districts on topics such as effective communication, business systems, and program development.
Kweilin played women’s professional football for 5 active seasons and later became the first African American woman and the second woman since WW2 to coach high school football in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League. While there, she helped 3 student- athletes attain athletic scholarships and several Offensive Lineman made first team for the first time in over a decade under her coaching.
Kweilin is CEO of Wofford ECE Consulting Group, LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in small business system development and early childhood education programming. To date, her mobile S.T.E.M. education program has educated over 300 students from Pre-K to 8th grade. Her firm has created business systems and enhanced business practices for over 20 small businesses that remain in operation nationwide, has volunteered over 2,000 class and consulting hours for inspiring entrepreneurs, and was the 2017 recipient for the Community Partner Award. Kweilin has been a Part-time Instructor for the Community College of Allegheny County for 3 years teaching students how to start a small business and has developed 2 courses that were in circulation for 2 years. Kweilin is also a published author of poetry works dating from 2002 and is set to release the second book of a 2-book series. Currently, Kweilin is in the process of opening a Kindergarten Prep Academy with Montessori inspiration and a focus on S.T.E.A.M. Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).
Kweilin resides in a small city just outside of Pittsburgh, has 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren, and a 4-year old black lab/pit named Blu. She enjoys writing/performing poetry, travelling, watching documentaries, and public speaking. Her passions include business system development, early learning education, and football. Kweilin considers herself a vision engineer with a love of helping others succeed through overcoming negative situations in a positive way. She hopes she helps to inspire great things to come from you.
